Project Interfaith's RavelUnravel Adult Education Curriculum - Facilitator Manual

It’s a diverse world out there. Many of us struggle to find open, respectful ways to explore and talk about our identities and differences. The RavelUnravel Adult Education Curriculum seeks to change that by providing an interactive, multimedia experience that will build critical thinking, self-reflection, and conversation skills while exploring the tapestry of religious and spiritual identities that make up our communities and world. The RavelUnravel Adult Education Curriculum uses video content from RavelUnravel.com along with pre and post video viewing activities to engage users in thoughtful reflection and discussion on six thematic units: Identity, Values, Stereotypes, Context and Culture, Creating a Welcoming Community, and Weaving It All Together. In addition, the RavelUnravel Adult Education Curriculum contains pre and post use self-assessments that allow users to observe shifts that have occurred in their comfort levels, attitudes and behaviors related to discussing topics of religion, spirituality, culture and identity as a result of using this curriculum.

The curriculum can be used in a wide variety of learning communities, adult education courses, and groups.

Two separate publications comprise the RavelUnravel Adult Education Curriculum: 1) the RavelUnravel Adult Education Curriculum - Facilitator Manual and 2) the RavelUnravel Adult Education - Participant Workbook and Resource Guide. PDFs of each publication can be purchased from the Project Interfaith website and are compatible with mobile devices including tablets, laptops and smart phones as well as with desktop computers.
